Possibly due to the very cold weather we have been experiencing recently, or due to a fault with the central heating system at the club, on some days members have noticed that the heating has not been warming the club properly, especially in the court C and D area. We have arranged for some heating engineers to come in this week to review the system and to test it for faults and suggest solutions. However, depending on what is found, we may continue to experience the same problems for a little while until corrective action is taken. We hope that this will be resolved quickly.
Please could we ask that you don’t alter any of the system controls and thermostats, as these have been set to work to maximum effect, and this stops if controls are altered. For example, the other day someone adjusted a thermostat to 30 degrees – far too hot. This resulted in three windows being opened to cool the club down and just robbed the heat from the other end of the club!
Many thanks for your support,
Chris Waite and Mike Parsons
